Rama Challa is an accomplished engineering and project delivery leader with extensive experience driving large-scale EPC initiatives across the LNG, ammonia, NGL, hydrogen, crude, and refined product storage sectors.

Rama Challa is an internationally recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in structural Engineering and storage tanks, with over two decades of leadership in complex EPC, energy, and industrial projects across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. He has successfully delivered multiple first of their kind initiatives, including the largest LNG tanks constructed in the U.S. at the time, the world’s largest post combustion carbon capture plant during its commissioning, and one of the earliest feasibility studies for large-scale liquid hydrogen (LH2) storage exceeding 10,000 cubic meters. His expertise is anchored in technical excellence, regulatory insight, and a proven ability to bridge design innovation with constructability and execution efficiency.

Rama currently serves as Chair of the API Cryogenic and Refrigerated Tank Standards Committee (API 625, API 626, API 620 Annexures Q and R) and is an active member of the API Subcommittee on Aboveground Storage Tanks (API 650, API 653, API 620, API 2510, API 2610).
